About Legal Associate Vacancy at Ministry of Environment

Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Recruitment Vacancy in 2025 for filling up of twenty-two (22) posts of Associates (Legal) on a contractual basis in the Policy & Law Division of the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEFCC) on payment of a consolidated monthly remuneration ranging from ₹40,000/- to ₹1,00,000/-.

Eligibility: Associate Legal Vacancy at Ministry of Forest

• Essential:
  • Bachelor’s degree in law (LL. B) or
  • equivalent from a recognized University and/ or
  • Institute in India, recognized by the Bar Council of India and having experience of more than one (1) year and up to two (2) years.
  • Enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India or any State Bar Council, under the provisions of The Advocates Act, 1961. 40,000.00 (Forty Thousand only)
• Desirable:
  • experience in handling cases related to the environment, forests, biodiversity wildlife, etc. in a Government of India or State Government Department/ Board.
  • possessing a Diploma/ Certificate of specialization in related subjects/ fields from a recognized University/ Institution.

Allowances: Ministry Legal Vacancy

• The Associates (Legal) shall not be entitled to any allowances such as Dearness Allowance, Residential Telephone facility, Residential accommodation, Personal Staff, CGHS, Medical Reimbursement, etc.

Period of engagement: Ministry of Forest Legal Associate Vacancy 2025

The maximum tenure of a person as Associate (Legal) would be up to five years and continuation of the Legal (Associate) beyond three years for up to an additional two years will be considered on a case-to-case basis, with the approval of competent authority.
