About Digital India Internship Scheme 2025
Meity Digital India Summer Internship Scheme for Law, B.E/B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, IT, CS, Economics 2025 An Internship Scheme by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India, for engagement of Interns for a limited period. The scheme is open to Indian students from recognized universities in India who have secured at least 60% marks in the last held degree or certificate examination and pursuing: a B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)/Computer Science (CS)/ IT/ Electronics & Communications (EC)/ Electronics/ Electrical); M.Sc.(CS/IT/ Electronics/ Electrical); MCA/DOEACC ‘B’ level; BA (Economics (H)); B.Com (H)/ M.Com.; MBA (Finance/International Business); LL. B#.
Benefits: Meity Digital India Internship Scheme 2025
- Stipend: Interns receive a token stipend of ₹10,000 per month, subject to satisfactory performance as certified by their supervisor. (Not Assure)
- Certificate: Upon successful completion of the internship and submission of a required report, interns receive a certificate from the Ministry.
- Exposure: Gain firsthand experience working on government projects related to digitalization.
- Learning: Opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in the IT domain and contribute to MeitY’s initiatives.
Eligibility: MeitY Gov of India Internship 2025
Indian students from recognized universities in India who have secured at least 60% marks in the last held degree or certificate examination and pursuing:
- B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)/ Computer Science (CS)/ IT/ Electronics & Communications (EC)/ Electronics/ Electrical)
- M.Sc.(CS/IT/ Electronics/ Electrical)
- MCA/DOEACC ‘B’ level
- LL.B #
- Bachelor’s in economics and Statistics *
#Students would be considered for internship only for ‘Public policy on Internet’ area.
*Students would be considered for internship only for “Digital Economy” area.
Note: – The students who are in the last semester or who will pass out in summer 2025 will not be eligible for the internship. Only students who are in the previous one year will be eligible.

Document Requirement: Meity Digital India Internship Scheme 2025
- Recommendation Letter from the Institution where the applicant is currently enrolled.
- When marks of pursuing a degree are obtained in CGPA, a letter from the Institute stating the formula used for conversion in percentage.
- Passport size photo and signature in digital format (PNG, jpg)
