About NHRC Summer Internship 2025

The NHRC Paid Summer Internship 2025, National Human Rights Commission, offers internships in India to champion human rights. Programs run in summer (May-June) and winter (Dec-Jan) with additional short-term options. Interns gain exposure to the Commission’s work, including handling complaints and human rights issues. It’s a great chance to learn and contribute to a cause.

Eligibility: National Human Rights Commission Summer Internship 2025

Students who have completed 1st year and are pursuing the 2nd OR 3rd year of the 3-year LL.B. Course are eligible to apply.
Students who have completed 3 years OR VI Semester of 5 years Course of BA/BBA.LLB., etc., and pursuing 4th & 5th years are eligible to apply.
Students pursuing LL.M. Courses.
Students pursuing MA in Human Rights, Political Science, Sociology, Social Work (MSW), Criminology, Public Administration, Rural Development, History, Economics, Commerce, Anthropology, International Relations, and any of the disciplines of Social Sciences would be considered with preference to students pursuing their final year.
Only students of regular courses at UGC UGC-recognized universities will be eligible.
Students must have attained a minimum of 65% marks in Class XII and all subsequent semester exams.
Reservation as per extant Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PWD category will be applied. The candidate has to attach a self-attested Caste Certificate / Disability Certificate (if applicable), failing which the application will be liable to be rejected. In the event of insufficient

Traveling and Stipend: NHRC Summer Internship 2025

The selected interns from outside Delhi will be allowed Sleeper AC 3 Tier train fare to New Delhi and back to their place of study through the shortest route.
All selected interns who complete the internship will be paid an amount of Rs. 12,000/- (Rupees Twelve Thousand only) as stipend.
Interns will have to make their own arrangements for living accommodation and local transport from and to the Commission for the duration of the internship programme.
