About Shreeji & Associates Online Moot Court

Moot court is a simulated court proceeding where law students argue imaginary cases for learning and practicing advocacy. It serves as a crucial platform in legal education, allowing participants to engage deeply with legal research, writing, and oral advocacy. Through moot courts, students not only build their legal reasoning and public speaking skills but also imbibe values of professionalism, justice, and fairness.

Language

The official language of the competition is English.

Eligibility: Nyay Utsav Moot Court

  • Teams from any law colleges/institutions/universities recognized by the B.C.I. are allowed.
  • Teams must consist of two speakers and one researcher.
  • Participants must be currently enrolled in a recognized 3-year or 5-year law courses.

Registration Details: NYAY UTSAV: EX AEQUO ET BONO Moot Court

  • Registration fee: Rs. 1500/- per team (Rs. 1200/- for early bird till 1st July, 2025) is payable online.
  • Deadline: 28th July, 2025
  • Submission must include a duly filled registration form and college/varsities ID cards of all members.
  • Team Codes will be assigned post-registration.
  • Last Date for Seeking Clarification: 30th July, 2025
  • Release of Official Clarification: 1st August, 2025
  • Disclosure of the institution name in memorials leads to disqualification.

MEMORIAL & COMPENDIUM SUBMISSION

  • Deadline: 23rd August, 2025 (11:59 P.M. IST)
  • Conveyance: Send the Memorandum and Compendium each for both the Petitioner and Respondent in the separate zip files to mc.shreejiandassociates@gmail.com.
  • See the example below for renaming the files. [e.g., TC_01 Petitioner & TC_01 Respondent].

  • Best Memorial: Rs. 3,000/- cash prize + e-certificate

Note: All other participating teams shall be awarded with the e-participation certificates.
