Rajasthan High Court: Instructions to wear white shirt and Black Pants except for Advocates

Rajasthan High Court Instructions to wear white shirt and Black Pants except for Advocates

The Rajasthan High Court Advocates Association, Jodhpur, has instructed that other persons, apart from advocates, should wear a white shirt and black pants in the Heritage High Court premises.

A press release has been issued by the association stating that typists, stamp banders, photocopy businessmen, canteen operators, law book sellers and other outsiders working in the Heritage High Court premises who sit in the premises are informed not to wear the advocates’ uniform which includes white shirt and black pants in the premises because this confuses the clients and in many cases it has been found that despite not being an advocate, the advocates present themselves as advocates to the clients and the clients also get confused due to wearing a uniform like an advocate. Many people sit in the court premises as fake advocates, who have been caught by the association earlier, and legal action has also been taken against them. Suppose after this notice, any person working in the premises other than advocates and a person sitting unnecessarily is found in a uniform like an advocate. In that case, strict action will be taken against him.
