Applications are invited for the post of Researcher cum Field Investigator for a short-term, full-time engagement under the research project titled: “Unveiling Women’s Workplace Realities: A Study of the Functioning of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity in Hyderabad and Bengaluru’s IT Industry”, It is supported by the National Foundation for Corporate Governance (NFCG), CII.
Researcher cum Field investigator
- Role: Researcher cum field investigator
- Duration: 3 months (full-time engagement)
- Remuneration: INR 30,000 per month (consolidated stipend)
- Field Work: 50 days in 3 months per person
- TA/DA: INR @ Rs.750/ per day of field work
- Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore
- Number of positions: 1 in Hyderabad and 1 in Bangalore
Responsibilities
Design and coordinate research tools/timelines; conduct desk reviews; manage data ethically; draft briefs, reports, presentations; liaise with stakeholders, administer surveys & interviews; record accurate data; maintain confidentiality; follow research ethics; coordinate with company representatives.
Eligibility
Master’s in Law, Gender Studies, Sociology, Public Policy, Development Studies, or related fields; research and fieldwork experience; familiarity with DEI, labour laws, ESG; MS Office proficiency (NVivo/SPSS/R preferred); strong local language communication skills (Kannada or Telugu); and ability to follow protocols and travel locally.
Selection Procedure
The Selection Process Shortlisted candidates will be called for an online interview on August 20, 2025 between 2PM and 5PM, based upon which, final selection will be made. The duration of engagement maybe extended based on performance.
