Number of Vacancies and Salary

HNLU is inviting applications for two Research Assistant positions with the following pay scale:

• Ph.D. holders – ₹67,000 per month
• LL.M. graduates – ₹57,000 per month
• LL.B. graduates – ₹47,000 per month

The posts are contractual, initially for one year, with the possibility of extension.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following

essential qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Law / LL.M. / LL.B. with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
• Strong knowledge of national and international research trends in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
• Ability to organize academic programs such as workshops, seminars, and conferences.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in computer applications (MS Office, AI tools, plagiarism software, etc.).

Desirable Qualifications:

• Teaching/research experience in reputed law universities or colleges.
• Publications in relevant fields.
• Strong interpersonal, team-building, and innovative research skills.

Roles and Responsibilities: HNLU Research Assistant Vacancy

The selected Research Assistants will:

• Assist in IPR research and academic projects under DPIIT–IPR Chair.
• Collaborate with universities, government bodies, and international institutions.
• Contribute to training, workshops, and extension programs.
• Provide administrative and coordination support for the Centre for Innovation & IP Laws (CIIPL).

Important Notes

• The University may decide not to fill the posts or revise remuneration/requirements.
• Selection will be based on shortlisting criteria.
• Appointment will be for one year, subject to extension.
