The Blog on Technology and Intellectual Property Law seeks to provide a platform for authors to share their perspectives on contemporary issues in Intellectual Property (IP) law and technology law. The aim is to create a resourceful one-stop destination for high-quality posts on these evolving areas while encouraging meaningful academic and professional dialogue.

Scope of the Blog

Submissions are welcome on topics related to intellectual property law and/or technology law. Posts should be relevant to ongoing debates in these fields and are expected to contribute fresh perspectives, opinions, or ideas to the existing body of literature. Authors may write to csipr@nliu.ac.in if they require clarification regarding topic selection.

Submission Guidelines

• Word Limit: Articles must be between 800–1500 words (flexible at the editor’s discretion).
• Structure: Use sub-headings to enhance readability.
• Referencing: Preferably through hyperlinks. Endnotes may be used only when strictly necessary, following the Oxford Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA).
• Format: Submissions must be in MS Word format with no identifying details of the author(s).
• Title: Should not exceed 20 words.
• Keywords: Provide 5 keywords that capture the essence of the post.

Review Process

Each submission will undergo a two-stage internal review. Editors may request changes in language, structure, or reasoning before approving a post for publication. The editorial team reserves the absolute discretion to accept or reject any submission.

Authorship Rules

• Co-authorship of up to two authors is permitted.
• Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis from students, academicians, and professionals.
• Authors must confirm that their work is original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. Plagiarism or violation of this condition will invite strict action.

Publication and Republishing Policy

• Once published, posts may be republished or cross-posted provided due credit is given with the line: “This post was first published on the Blog for IP and Technology Law (www.csipr.nliu.ac.in)”.
• Authors must also inform the editorial team of any subsequent publication via email (csipr@nliu.ac.in).
