ToggleCOLOSSUS 2025: HNLU’s Grand Celebration of Sports, Culture & Literary Excellence
Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur, proudly concluded its grand annual fest “COLOSSUS 2025: Sports | Cultural | Literary”, marking three days of vibrant competitions, artistic brilliance, and intellectual exchange. The valedictory ceremony stood as a tribute to the values of teamwork, creativity, and holistic education.
Hon’ble Mr. Justice Prakash Shrivastava, Chairperson of the National Green Tribunal and former Chief Justice of the High Court of Calcutta, graced the event as the Chief Guest. He inspired students with a powerful analogy of life’s lessons through a pencil — emphasizing purpose, inner strength, resilience, and the ability to correct mistakes. He urged students to value confidence, collaboration, and character over mere certificates.
Shri Arun Deo Gautam, IPS, Director General of Police, Chhattisgarh, served as the Guest of Honour. He encouraged students to treat such fests as real-life classrooms, where experiences shape leadership, responsibility, and nation-building.
Mr. Utkarsh Soni, Convenor of COLOSSUS, presented a comprehensive report, highlighting participation from over 114 colleges nationwide. The fest celebrated youthful enthusiasm through sportsmanship, cultural diversity, and literary prowess.
Mr. Harsh, Secretary of IMUNYP 2025, appreciated the relentless efforts of the organizing team and acknowledged the participation of 235 delegates, along with recognition from prestigious international platforms like the United Nations.
The event saw heartfelt contributions from esteemed faculty members including Prof. Yogendra Srivastav, Dr. Ankit Singh, and Dr. Deepak Srivastav, who guided and motivated the students throughout the journey.
Adding charm to the evenings, the campus turned into a carnival of music and joy with electrifying performances by DJ Arpit, Jaskaran, Dox, and Baggi Munda. Their acts brought together students from across the country in a celebration of rhythm, unity, and youth.
From Kalinga University, DSNLU Vizag, NLUO, NIT Raipur, to HNLU itself, multiple institutions emerged victorious across various events, showcasing extraordinary talent and determination.
Conclusion
COLOSSUS 2025 was not just an event — it was a philosophy. It symbolized empathy, excellence, and expression, reminding every participant: “Don’t cry because it’s over; smile because it happened.”
HNLU’s legacy of fostering leadership, learning, and laughter continues to grow, making COLOSSUS a crown jewel in its academic calendar.
