We are inviting Legal Researchers for a contract-based role focused on academic and application-oriented projects.
About the Role
The position involves research across key areas of law, including:
- Company Law & Insolvency
- Banking and Securities Law
- Indian Contract Law
- Legal and Judicial Reforms
Selected candidates will contribute to policy-driven and scholarly work that bridges academic insight with practical impact.
Qualification: IIM Ahmedabad Legal Research Vacancy
- Educational Qualification: Law Graduate (LL.B. or equivalent)
- Experience: 0–2 years of professional experience
- Skills Required: Strong legal research, drafting, analytical thinking, and interest in policy reforms
This is a full-time contractual position based on the IIM Ahmedabad campus, with an initial tenure of 6 months, extendable based on performance.
Compensation
The remuneration will be in accordance with IIM Ahmedabad’s policies and will be commensurate with your qualifications and experience.

I am a retired Civil Servant from WBCS (Exe) cadre under Government of West Bengal and having academic background of LL M from Calcutta University and presently a practicing Advocate mostly at Calcutta High Court and occasionally at Supreme Court of India and other Tribunals. I have deep interest for doing research preferably in the areas of Constitutional Laws and Human Rights. Am I eligible?
