The competition aims to encourage young scholars, students, and researchers to engage in discussions that promote integrity, transparency, and accountability — the core principles necessary to combat corruption and strengthen ethical governance in India.

About Vigilance Awareness Week

Vigilance Awareness Week is observed annually in India during the last week of October to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (October 31), the “Iron Man of India.”

The week-long observance is dedicated to promoting public awareness against corruption and encouraging collective participation to uphold ethical standards and good governance.

During this week, various government institutions, public sector organisations, and universities across India will conduct events such as integrity pledges, workshops, and competitions to promote awareness about transparency and honesty in public life.
