NLU Delhi Call for Papers 2025, UNESCO Chair

The UNESCO Chair for Legal Dimensions of Clean Sports, hosted at the National Law University Delhi (NLUD), has announced a Call for Papers for its prestigious International Conference on “Clean and Safe Sports”, scheduled for February 14, 2026.

This global academic event aims to bring together scholars, practitioners, policymakers, sport regulators, and researchers to explore emerging challenges, legal complexities, and ethical considerations shaping the domain of clean and safe sports worldwide.

About the Conference

Organised under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Ruchi Paul, Registrar, NLU Delhi, and UNESCO Chairholder for Legal Dimensions of Clean Sports, the conference seeks to build a multidisciplinary dialogue on sports integrity, legal frameworks, anti-doping mechanisms, governance standards, and the intersection of sports with public welfare and human rights.

Selected high-quality papers will be published in an ISBN-certified edited book under the UNESCO Chair for Legal Dimensions of Clean Sports, NLU Delhi—providing esteemed academic visibility to contributors.

Call for Papers: Themes & Focus Areas

Submission Guidelines

1. Abstract Submission

  1. Word Limit: 300–350 words
  2. Must include:
    1. Title
    2. Author(s) name
    3. Designation
    4. Institutional affiliation
    5. Contact details
    6. Keywords (3–5)

2. Full Paper Submission

  • Word Limit: 3,000–5,000 words (including footnotes)
  • Citation Style: Bluebook 21st Edition or APA 7th Edition
  • Font: Times New Roman, Size 12
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Footnotes: Size 10, single spaced

Authorship Rules

  • Co-authorship allowed for up to two authors
  • Separate registration required for each author

Originality Requirement

  • Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
