The Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), New Delhi, offers a prestigious and highly structured 4-week Law/Legal internship programme 2026 January Batch for Law Students, designed for law students and young researchers aspiring to build a strong foundation in arbitration, mediation, and conciliation. Key Features of the DIAC Internship
📌 Structured 4-Week Programme (Extendable to 8 Weeks)
Interns undergo a systematic and curated training module focused on developing a comprehensive understanding of institutional arbitration.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet one of the following academic qualifications:
- 3rd year or above in a 5-year Integrated Law Programme
- 2nd year or above in a 3-year LL.B. Programme
- LL.M. or Ph.D. students with a demonstrated interest in arbitration, mediation, or conciliation

Timeline
Applications must be submitted at least one month before the intended internship start date.
Example: For the December batch, applications must reach DIAC on or before 1st November.

Selection Process
Evaluation
All applications submitted within the prescribed timeline are evaluated by the DIAC Secretariat under the supervision of the Coordinator, DIAC.
Evaluation is based on a structured rubric assessing:
- Academic profile (CV)
- Quality of Statement of Interest
- Strength of Letter of Reference
Confirmation of Internship
- Only 20 interns are selected per 4-week cycle
- Intake may be increased at the discretion of the Coordinator
- Selected applicants are notified via email
- Final confirmation follows a first-come, first-served acceptance order
