Eligibility Criteria (Must-Haves for Applicants)

Candidates must meet stringent academic and publication requirements to be eligible for the Post-Doctoral Fellowship:

  1. Doctoral Degree: Must hold a Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in one of the following fields:
    1. Law
    2. Social Sciences
    3. Humanities
    4. Management
    5. Any discipline related to Law in multidisciplinary research.
  2. Publication Record: Must have at least three publications in peer-reviewed journals, specifically those indexed in:
    1. UGC Care Listed
    2. Scopus indexed
    3. Web of Science (WoS)

Preference will be accorded to candidates with publications in Scopus/Web of Science or books published by reputed international publishing houses like Oxford, Cambridge, Hart, or Sweet & Maxwell.

Job Description and Deliverables

The Post-doctoral Researcher will focus primarily on two areas: research and teaching/course offering.

Area of WorkMandatory Deliverables / Duties
ResearchConducting research work in the area of specialization the Fellow is registered in.
PublicationPublishing at least two research papers annually in Web of Science or Scopus listed journals, OR publishing a book by a reputed international publishing house.
Teaching/AcademicsMay be given a mandatory course to teach, or the Fellow may voluntarily propose to offer an elective or seminar course in their area of specialization.
ConsultancyMay be entitled to additional payment if they successfully bring projects or consultancy assignments to the University (as per University rules).
