Roadmap
ToggleAbout Interplay Between AI and Copyright, FICCI IPEC
As artificial intelligence rapidly reshapes how content is created, distributed, and monetised, copyright law is facing unprecedented challenges. From AI-generated music and art to automated content scraping and training datasets, the fundamental question confronting creators, platforms, and policymakers is clear:
How do we protect human creativity when technology is evolving faster than the law?
To address this critical issue, the Intellectual Property Education Centre (IPEC) of FICCI is organising a focused online webinar titled “Interplay Between AI & Copyright”, aimed at law students, IP professionals, researchers, and technology enthusiasts.
Purpose of the Webinar
The webinar is designed to:
- Explain how AI systems interact with copyright law
- Examine emerging legal risks around AI-generated content
- Discuss policy responses and future regulatory directions
- Equip students and young professionals with practical insights into AI and IP law
With AI becoming central to creative industries, understanding copyright in the AI era is no longer optional—it is essential.
