About FSSAI Internship Programme 2026

FSSAI is a statutory authority constituted under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. The internship programme is designed to provide hands-on learning, policy exposure, and real-world experience to students from diverse academic backgrounds.

Interns work closely with FSSAI officials at:

• Headquarters
• Regional Offices
• National Food Laboratories

This programme runs quarterly throughout the year.

Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply?

Only currently enrolled students are eligible to apply.

• Full-time Graduate, Post-Graduate, or Research students
• Students enrolled in recognised Indian or foreign universities
• Applicants must be pursuing the course during the internship period
