The Centre for Innovation, Intellectual Property and Competition (CIIPC) at National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi) has invited applications for its IPR Internship Programme 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for law students interested in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) to gain hands-on research experience at one of India’s premier legal institutions.

CIIPC is a leading research centre at NLU Delhi focusing on innovation, intellectual property law, and competition policy. It actively engages in policy research, academic writing, and capacity-building initiatives in the field of IPR.
Internship Details at a Glance
- Internship Mode: Offline / On-Campus
- Location: National Law University Delhi
- Duration: 1 to 3 Months
- Internship Period: 01 April – 30 June 2026
- Stipend: ₹10,000 per month
- Last Date to Apply: 15 February 2026
Eligibility Criteria: CIIPC Internship 2026
Applicants must fulfill the following conditions:
- Must be currently enrolled in an Undergraduate (UG) or Postgraduate (PG) law programme
- Must have:
- Studied Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) as a subject
OR - Successfully completed the L2PRO India E-Learning Programme (Basic Level)
- Studied Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) as a subject
Application Requirements
Candidates must submit a complete application along with:
- Writing Sample
- Can be published or unpublished
- Must be original
- Maximum length: 2000 words (if unpublished)
- Preferred Internship Time Period
- Minimum internship duration: 4 weeks
- Applicants must clearly mention availability
Important Guidelines for Applicants
- Internship opportunities are subject to project availability and quality of applications
- Candidates must not have an active academic session during the internship period
- Applicants are advised to apply at least 8 weeks in advance of their preferred internship slot
- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 4 weeks of application submission
- Due to a high volume of applications, only selected candidates will be notified
- Incomplete or late applications will be rejected
- CIIPC reserves the right to reject applications or not fill internship positions

- Selection is purely merit-based
- CIIPC holds the discretion to make exceptions in extraordinary circumstances
- Meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection
