The firm has an active and diverse litigation practice before the High Court of Delhi, Civil Courts in Delhi, and matters extending to the Supreme Court of India. This opportunity is ideal for law graduates seeking rigorous research exposure in high-quality litigation work.

About the Role

The position is primarily desk-based and focuses on intensive legal research, drafting, and litigation support. The selected candidate will play a key role in assisting the legal team with case preparation and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Legal research on statutory provisions, case laws, and precedents
• Drafting assistance for:
  • Writ petitions
  • Civil suits
  • Applications, replies, and rejoinders
  • Written submissions and synopses
• Preparation of:
  • Lists of dates and events
  • Briefing notes and issue-wise legal analysis
  • Paper books, annexures, and indexing
• Compilation and systematic maintenance of case records
• Statutory interpretation and procedural compliance

Court visits, if required, will be occasional and limited to filing, briefing, or procedural formalities.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• LL.B. degree from a recognized institution
• Strong understanding of:
  • Civil Procedure Code (CPC)
  • Criminal procedure
  • Constitutional remedies
  • Civil litigation practice
• Proficiency in legal research databases (SCC Online, Manupatra, etc.)
• Demonstrable legal drafting and analytical skills

Remuneration

• Salary will be as per prevailing market standards
• Compensation will be commensurate with experience and competence
