1st ADR Research Paper Writing Competition, 2026

The ADR Society, Campus Law Centre (CLC), Faculty of Law, University of Delhi has officially announced the 1st ADR Research Paper Writing Competition, 2026, inviting law students from across India to engage in rigorous legal research on contemporary arbitration issues.

This national-level competition aims to promote academic excellence, critical thinking, and scholarly discourse in the evolving field of International Commercial Arbitration (ICA), particularly within the Indian legal framework.

Theme of the Competition

“Contemporary Challenges in International Commercial Arbitration in India”

Participants are encouraged to analyse emerging jurisprudential trends, procedural complexities, technological developments, and practical challenges affecting international commercial arbitration in India.

Objectives of the Competition

  • To foster research-oriented learning among law students
  • To promote understanding of International Commercial Arbitration in India
  • To encourage scholarly discussion on emerging legal and procedural challenges
  • To provide a national platform for young legal researchers

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to students enrolled in 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programmes across India
  • Joint authorship permitted (maximum two authors from the same institution)
  • No registration fee

  • Word Limit: 6,000 words (excluding footnotes)
  • Citation Style: Bluebook (21st Edition)
  • Originality: Strictly required (plagiarism above 10% leads to rejection)
