IIT Gandhinagar, Summer Research Internship Programme (SRIP) 2026

The Summer Research Internship Programme (SRIP) 2026 offers undergraduate and postgraduate students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on research experience in a stimulating academic environment. The programme is open to both Indian and international students studying in India and is designed to promote research excellence, innovation, and interdisciplinary learning.

About SRIP 2026

SRIP 2026 is an intensive summer research initiative that allows students to work closely with faculty mentors on research projects while also participating in academic, cultural, and extracurricular activities.

Eligibility Criteria

For Indian Students

• Students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Enrollment in a recognized university or institution

For International Students Studying in India

• International students currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in India
• Must be enrolled in a recognised Indian institution

Duration of Internship

• Minimum Duration: 8 weeks
• Internship Window: Between May 7, 2026 to July 16, 2026
