Pondicherry University – School of Law Offers Scholars and legal professionals the opportunity to contribute to an upcoming edited book on International Criminal Law & Criminal Justice 2026. This call for chapters welcomes Professors, Researchers, Students, and Practitioners who are interested in advancing scholarship in international criminal jurisprudence and global justice mechanisms.
If you are working in the field of international law, humanitarian law, criminal justice, or global governance, this is an excellent opportunity to publish your research in a peer-reviewed edited volume.
About the Edited Book on International Criminal Law & Criminal Justice
The proposed book aims to provide a comprehensive academic analysis of evolving issues in international criminal law, global justice systems, and accountability mechanisms for international crimes. The volume will examine both theoretical foundations and practical implementation challenges in contemporary international legal systems.
Contributors are encouraged to submit original, unpublished research abstracts addressing emerging developments, comparative perspectives, and critical analysis in the field.
Suggested Sub-Themes for Chapter Submission
Authors may submit abstracts on (but not limited to) the following topics:
- History and development of International Criminal Law
- Salient features of major UN Conventions relating to international crimes
- International crime investigating agencies
- International Criminal Tribunals and Special Courts
- International Criminal Court (ICC)
- International Humanitarian Law and its implementation
- Law of War and armed conflict regulations
Interdisciplinary and comparative approaches are also welcome.

- 30 April 2026 – Full Chapter Submission
- 31 May 2026 – Review & Editing Process
