Position Details

• Job Title: Asso GBL – Legal & Compliance (L4)

• Department: In-House Legal & Labour Compliance
• Location: Mumbai and Pune

This role focuses on managing employment litigation, labour law compliance, and statutory regulatory matters for the organization.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for this position should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university
• Enrolment with the Bar Council (preferred)
• Experience in employment-related litigation and labour law compliance
• Strong knowledge of Indian labour and employment laws
• Experience appearing before courts and labour authorities
• Familiarity with statutory registrations, returns, and compliance filings
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to travel within western India for court appearances and compliance matters

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Appearing before courts in western India for employment-related litigation
• Representing the company before Labour Authorities for conciliation proceedings
• Applying for and maintaining labour law registrations and licenses
• Coordinating with authorities to obtain approvals and registrations
• Filing statutory returns and maintaining compliance documentation
• Handling government inspections and responding to regulatory queries
• Conducting routine labour compliance checks across assigned locations
• Supporting client compliance audits with required documents and data
• Interacting with client auditors during compliance reviews
• Managing additional compliance-related tasks as assigned
