About the Opportunity

NLU Delhi is recruiting a Research Associate (Contractual Position) for a project funded under the Research Endeavour Grant (N-REG) 2025-26.

• Evaluation of reparations jurisprudence
• Study of victim-centred justice mechanisms
• Research in international criminal law frameworks

⏳ Duration:

• Initially 6 months
• Extension possible based on performance and project needs

• Nature of Appointment: Contractual
• Remuneration: ₹35,000 per month (Consolidated)

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

• Assist in research related to International Criminal Law
• Work closely with the Project Director
• Contribute to academic writing and legal analysis
• Support research documentation and project reporting

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• 🎓 Law Graduate (LL.B./B.A. LL.B.)
• 🎓 LL.M. (Completed or Appearing) from a recognized Indian or foreign university
• 📚 At least one peer-reviewed publication in a reputed journal
• 🌍 Knowledge of substantive and procedural international law
• 📝 Proficiency in English
• 💻 Skilled in MS Office applications
• 📖 Prior experience in international law research (Desirable)
