Law students aspiring to build a strong career in litigation and Supreme Court practice now have an excellent opportunity to gain real-world exposure. The Office of an Advocate-on-Record (AOR), Supreme Court of India, is inviting applications for a physical legal internship starting from 10 February for a duration of four weeks.
This internship is designed to provide hands-on litigation experience and practical insight into court procedures at the highest level of the Indian judicial system.
About the AOR Internship
The internship at the Office of an Advocate-on-Record offers law students a chance to closely observe and assist in matters before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and various High Courts. Interns will work directly on live cases and gain exposure to the daily functioning of a litigation chamber.
Key Responsibilities
During the internship, selected candidates will be involved in:
- Legal research on constitutional and statutory issues
- Drafting petitions, applications, and legal notes
- Understanding Supreme Court and High Court procedures
- Assisting advocates in ongoing litigation matters
- Observing court proceedings and case management
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Law students with strong legal research and drafting skills
- Genuine interest in litigation and court practice
- Ability to work in a fast-paced professional environment
- Serious and disciplined approach towards legal training
