AK & Partners, a growing law firm with a strong disputes practice, has opened applications for the position of Trainee Associate – Disputes Team. This opportunity is ideal for fresh law graduates and early-career lawyers who are keen to build a strong foundation in litigation and trial practice under structured training and senior mentorship.

About the Trainee Associate Role

This is a training-oriented litigation role designed to provide hands-on courtroom exposure rather than limited desk work. Selected candidates will work closely with experienced litigators and gain practical insights into dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Observing and attending court proceedings and hearings
• Conducting legal research and assisting in drafting pleadings and applications
• Supporting case preparation and litigation strategy
• Understanding dispute management from filing to trial stages

Important Role Conditions (Must Read)

• This is a mandatory 1-year training position
• Confirmation as an Associate will be considered only after successful completion of the training period
• The role involves active trial and court exposure

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• 🎓 Law graduates with less than 1 year of experience
• 🎓 Freshers with at least 5 onsite litigation/disputes internships
• ⚖️ Strong interest in litigation and dispute resolution
• ⏳ Immediate joiners or candidates available to join by 1 March
