Eligibility Criteria for DPIIT-IPR Chair Professor

Academic Eligibility

- Have served as a Professor or Associate Professor, or
- Meet the eligibility standards prescribed by the UGC for these positions
Additionally, applicants must possess significant teaching and research experience in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
Professional Eligibility

- IPR Attorneys with at least 10 years of practice in Intellectual Property Law
- Professionals with nationally recognized contributions in the field of IPR and a minimum of 10 years of experience
- Retired officials from the IP Office under CGPDTM possessing:
- A Doctorate Degree
- Minimum 5 years’ experience at Level 12 or above
- Experience as:
- Controller of Patents & Designs
- Registrar of Trademarks & Geographical Indications
- Registrar of Copyrights
