About Parliamentary Debate by ILS Law College Pune 2025

The ILS Law College Pune Debating Society is organizing its 13th edition of the annual three-day Justice V.M. Tarkunde National Parliamentary Debate 2025. Every year, we conduct this debate honoring the eminent Justice V.M. Tarkunde. It follows the 3 on 3 Asian Parliamentary Debating format. It is a semi-open tournament, and institutional cross-teams are permitted.

Registration Details: 13th Justice V.M. Tarkunde Parliamentary Debate

• The registration fee is INR 3000/- (inclusive of GST) without accommodation per person.
• The accommodation fee for participants is INR 600/- (inclusive of GST) per person. The accommodation will be provided for 2 nights and 2 days.

Registration Fee

• Rs 3000 without accommodation,
• Rs 3600 with accommodation.

Tentative Structure:

Day One – 31st January 2025 (Friday)

• Brief orientation for speakers and adjudicators.
• Release of adjudicator test results.
• Round One
• Round Two

Day Two – 1st February 2025 (Saturday)

• Round Three
• Round Four
• Round Five
• Release of Breaks

Day Three – 2nd February 2025 (Sunday)

• Quarter Finals and Novice Semi-finals
• Semi-Finals and Novice Finals
• Open Final Round
• Award Distribution
