The WBNUJS invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from the reputed research institutions, universities, National Law Universities for undertaking research projects on the thrust areas/ themes listed below which are short term project of 9 (nine) months beginning from July 2025.
Themes of Research Project
- Law and Technology
- Social justice and vulnerable groups.
- Protection and care of children: challenges and way forward.
- Criminology – Sexual Offences against Children.
- Data Science and Data Protection
- Custom and alternative justice system in Tribal Societies: An Evaluative Study.
- . Criminal law and Police Administration.
- AI and IPR
- Disparities in equal access to Justice System.
- Climate Justice
- Evaluation study of Delays of Domestic Arbitration and/or Mediation
- Correctional Administration in India.
Qualification
- Research and Training Institutions set up and fully funded by the Central Government/State Government/Public Sector Undertaking;
- University or a Deemed University;
- Reputed Private Universities.
Procedure for Submission of Project Proposal
The procedure for submission of the Project Proposal as per the prescribed format, selection/ sanction of the project, release of grant and other conditions are given in the “GUIDELINES FOR COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH PROJECTS”, a copy of which is annexed herewith.
Duration
9 Months
Quantum of Financial Assistance
The limit of financial assistance for this short-term projects would be up to Rupees Ten Lakhs( Rs, 10,00,000/-) only.
