ToggleNational Law University Delhi Announces Key Dates for AILET and Other Entrance Exams
National Law University Delhi (NLUD) has released a new notification, superseding its previous one from June 17, 2025, regarding the All-India Law Entrance Test (AILET) and other admission exams. The new notification, dated July 22, 2025, provides specific dates and details for the upcoming academic year, 2026-27.
AILET 2026
The AILET-2026 will be held on
Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This test is for admission to the five-year B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. programs.
Key dates to remember for AILET 2026 are:
- Application Forms Available: Online application forms will be accessible on the university’s website, https://nationallawuniversitydelhi.in/, starting August 7, 2025.
- Application Deadline: The last date to submit online application forms is November 10, 2025.
A more detailed notification for AILET 2026 is expected to be issued soon.
All-India Entrance Test (AIET) 2026
NLUD will also be conducting the All-India Entrance Test (AIET) for several other programs on
May 3, 2026. This exam is for admission to the following programs:
- Postgraduate Insolvency Programme (PGIP) – Master of Arts (MA) / Master of Laws (LL.M.)
- Joint Master’s/LL.M. Programme in Intellectual Property (IP) Law and Management
- Ph.D. Programme
The online application forms for the AIET will be available from
January 7, 2026, on the same university website. A detailed admission notification for the AIET 2026 is scheduled to be released in January 2026.
