DSLSA Special Internship Drive 2025
The Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) is offering a Special Internship Drive for 2025. This program aims to provide law students from various universities and colleges across India an opportunity to experience and witness the workings of the DSLSA, which strives for “Access to Justice for all” through “Sewa Samadhan Samarpan”. The internship’s main objective is to make the Free Legal Aid System more accessible to young law students.
Eligibility: DSLSA Special Internship Drive 2025
- Who can apply: Law students enrolled in either a five-year or three-year degree course are eligible to apply.
- Number of seats: There are 100 seats available for this internship.
- Required skills: Applicants should have efficiency in written communication (English), legal writing, basic legal knowledge, and computer operations in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- How to apply: Students can apply online through the official DSLSA website, www.dslsa.org.
Application timeline
- Application start date: August 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM onwards.
- Application deadline: August 18, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
Required documents
The application must include a passport-size photograph and a scanned copy of a recommendation letter from the Principal or Head of the Law Department. Applications without these documents will not be considered.
Selection and confirmation
- Shortlisted students will be notified via email on August 22, 2025.
- A confirmation email of participation must be sent to legallitwing-dslsa@nic.in by August 25, 2025.
- Failure to do so may result in rejection of the application.
Internship period
The internship will run from September 1 to September 30, 2025,.
Internship Activities
During the internship, students may have the opportunity to visit various locations, including:
- Courts & Tribunals: District Courts (Civil & Criminal), Family Courts, and Mediation Centres
- Outreach Activities: Door-to-door campaigns and Legal Services Clinics.
- Child Care Institutions: Observation Homes for Juveniles, Juvenile Justice Boards, Children’s Homes, and Child Welfare Committees
- Jail & Police Stations: Tihar, Rohini, or Mandoli Jails, and Police Stations
- Other Government Establishments: One Stop Centres, Shelter Homes, District Magistrate Offices, and District Labour Offices.
Attendance: DSLSA Internship 2025
A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory to receive the internship certificate.
Hello, I am Ishiteshwari from National law University Jodhpur, and our that college conducts it’s classes and mid term exams during this period of September same for other universities as well, is there a possibility to apply for different period in the months of December or January when there is an official internship break
