Mar Gregorios College of Law (MGCL), Thiruvananthapuram, is officially inviting registrations for its highly anticipated 3rd Mar Gregorios Moot Court Competition (MGMCC) 2026. This flagship event, scheduled from January 22nd to 24th, 2026, promises an unparalleled platform for emerging legal talent to test their advocacy skills, with prizes valued at ₹1,00,000 up for grabs.

The deadline for Preliminary Registration is strictly November 15, 2025. Law students eager to showcase their legal prowess should act fast to secure their spot!

About Mar Gregorios College of Law (MGCL)

Eligibility and Team Structure

To ensure a level playing field and broad participation, the following eligibility criteria must be met:

• Eligibility: Students enrolled in the three-year or five-year LL.B. program (or equivalent) recognised by the Bar Council of India for the academic year 2025-26.
• Representation: Each recognised Law School/University in India may send only one team.
• Team Size: Teams must consist of a minimum of two and a maximum of three members.
  • Two members: Both act as Speakers.
  • Three members: Two act as Speakers, and one acts as the Researcher.
• Note: No external coaches or additional members are permitted to accompany the team during the competition.

Registration Process and Fees

Registration is a two-step process requiring timely completion:

1. Preliminary Registration

• Fee: ₹1500 INR
• Action: Complete the initial registration via the Google Form and submit the payment receipt.

• Outcome: Upon successful preliminary registration, teams will be assigned a Team Code for the remainder of the competition.

2. Final Registration

• This stage is only for teams selected based on memorial evaluation.
• Fee: ₹3000 INR
• Action: A separate Google Form link for final registration will be emailed to the qualified teams.
