Mar Gregorios College of Law (MGCL), Thiruvananthapuram, is officially inviting registrations for its highly anticipated 3rd Mar Gregorios Moot Court Competition (MGMCC) 2026. Eligibility and Team Structure

To ensure a level playing field and broad participation, the following eligibility criteria must be met:

  • Eligibility: Students enrolled in the three-year or five-year LL.B. program (or equivalent) recognised by the Bar Council of India for the academic year 2025-26.
  • Representation: Each recognised Law School/University in India may send only one team.
  • Team Size: Teams must consist of a minimum of two and a maximum of three members.
    • Two members: Both act as Speakers.
    • Three members: Two act as Speakers, and one acts as the Researcher.
  • Note: No external coaches or additional members are permitted to accompany the team during the competition.

Registration Process and Fees

Registration is a two-step process requiring timely completion:

1. Preliminary Registration

  • Fee: ₹1500 INR
  • Action: Complete the initial registration via the Google Form and submit the payment receipt.

  • Form Link: Preliminary Registration Form Link
  • Outcome: Upon successful preliminary registration, teams will be assigned a Team Code for the remainder of the competition.

2. Final Registration

  • This stage is only for teams selected based on memorial evaluation.
  • Fee: ₹3000 INR
  • Action: A separate Google Form link for final registration will be emailed to the qualified teams.
