About the Opportunity: Associate – Disputes & Litigation (Mumbai)

JSA is inviting applications for the role of Associate in its Disputes/Litigation team at the Mumbai office. The firm seeks individuals with 1–4 years of post-qualification experience, preferably those who have developed a solid foundation in dispute resolution.

This role requires full-time, on-site work and involves working closely with senior lawyers and partners on high-impact cases.

Key Responsibilities

The selected Associate will be responsible for:

• Representing clients before courts and tribunals
• Advising clients on legal strategies and dispute-related matters
• Conducting detailed legal research for case preparation
• Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, petitions, submissions, and notices
• Assisting in case discussions, strategy meetings, and procedural compliance
• Managing case files and coordinating with clients and internal teams

This role suits candidates with strong analytical skills, excellent drafting ability, and a commitment to litigation practice.

Eligibility Criteria

• 1–4 years of PQE
• Strong inclination toward dispute resolution and litigation
• Experience in court procedures, legal drafting, and research
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional environment
• Good communication and client-interaction skills
