NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, has announced a Three-Day Online Short-Term Course 2026 titled: “The Three-Day Online Course on the Law of Evidence (Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023)” A Comprehensive Online Training Programme on India’s New Evidence Law”, provides an in-depth understanding of the legal principles governing the proof of facts in judicial proceedings. With the enactment of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA), 2023, India has replaced the colonial-era Indian Evidence Act, 1872, marking one of the most significant legal reforms in the justice system.

 

Course Objectives: Online Course on Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam

This online certificate course aims to:

  • Introduce learners to the structure and scope of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023.
  • Explain key evidentiary principles such as admissibility, relevancy, burden of proof, and witness examination.
  • Highlight differences between the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 and the BSA, 2023.

Eligibility: Online Course on New Evidence Law

  • Open to all graduates and students currently pursuing graduation.
  • Candidates may enroll in multiple courses as long as session dates do not overlap.

Admission Procedure: 

  1. Fill and submit the online application form along with required documents and fee.
  2. Admission will be granted directly upon meeting eligibility criteria.
  3. Candidates may apply for more than one course if schedules do not clash.

Course Fee

₹10,000/- (inclusive of all online sessions and study material).

How to Apply

Conduct of the Course

  • All sessions will be conducted live online by academicians, legal experts, and industry professionals.
  • Reference materials will be provided in soft copy.
  • If registrations exceed 100, classes may be conducted in multiple batches.

Mode of Assessment

A single Online Examination will be held at the end of the course.
Assessment may include:

Award of Certificates (Soft Copy Only)

Course Completion Certificate

Awarded to candidates scoring 50% or above in the final assessment.

Certificate of Participation

Awarded to all enrolled candidates who do not qualify for the completion certificate.
