About National Client Counselling Competition 2026 – MNLU

Senior Advocate Late Shri P.M. Shah National Client Counselling Competition 2026 Announced by The Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, through its Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR) and Centre for International Corporate and Commercial Laws (CICCL).

This prestigious national-level event will be conducted on 14th and 15th March, 2026 and aims to test and enhance the practical client-counselling and legal advisory skills of law students across India.

About the Competition

The competition is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical legal education and real-world legal practice by providing participants with simulated client-counselling situations across diverse areas of law.

Registration Details: Senior Advocate Late Shri P.M. Shah National Client Counselling Competition 2026.

  • Team Composition:
    • Each team must consist of two participants only
    • Roles: Counsel 1 and Counsel 2
  • Number of Teams:
    • Only 40 teams will be selected on a first-come-first-serve basis
  • Registration Fee:
    • ₹7,000 per team
    • Fee includes accommodation and food

Competition Themes

The client-counselling problems will be based on the following areas of law:

  • Cyber & Technology Law
  • Mediation Law
  • Contract Law
  • Corporate Law
  • Arbitration Law

    • One-hour training session on SCC Online
  • 14th March, 2026:
