Internship at KSCPCR @Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights provides internship opportunities 2024 to students by holding an Internship Programme throughout the year. The main objective of this program is to familiarise the interested and willing students with the different aspects of child rights and the corresponding legal provisions. The Programme is open for students pursuing studies in Law/Social Work/Any Other Degree or PG or doing Research from recognized Colleges/ Institutions/Universities in India.

Important Instructions

  • Duration of internship will be as approved by the Commission based on information provided in the application.
  • Internship is a full-time program and hence interns are required to observe working hours of the Commission. Any absence during working hours may result in an extension of the period of internship. The internship may be discontinued at any time if the performance of the intern is not found satisfactory or the intern is absent without the authorization of the Commission.
  • The intern shall maintain the dignity, decorum, and discipline in the Commission’s office, failing which the internship will be liable to be terminated.

Stipend Details

  • No remuneration/expenses will be paid to the students during the Internship
  • Applications should be made at least one month in advance, clearly mentioning the month for which the internship is to be considered.

Eligibility Criteria for the KSCPCR Internship

  • Students pursuing studies in Law/Social Work/Any
  • Other Degree or PG
  • Doing Research from recognized Colleges/ Institutions/Universities in India.

Application Procedure for KSCPCR Internship

  • The Interested students pursuing studies at any recognized College/Institution/ University may apply in the prescribed form given in the Annexure with a photo ID proof (Photocopy of Identity card issued by the institution). Application in any other format will not be entertained.
  • Application must contain recommendation and declaration of the Head of the Institution/Department, annexed as Annexures 2 and 3, where the candidate is pursuing his/her studies. Applications received without recommendation and declaration will not be entertained.

  • Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
  • All these applications will be scrutinized, and the selection of students shall be subject to the availability of a slot and approval of the Commission.
  • Interns shall present a report of the work as well as the study carried out, at the end of their internship and submit it to the Commission for evaluation and suggestions, if any.

Certification Details

  • A Certificate will be issued to the Intern at the end of his/her internship only after evaluation of the report.
  • Certificate of successful completion of the internship will be issued only if the internee completes the full period of the internship.
  • In no case a certificate regarding partial completion of the internship will be issued.
