District Judge (Entry Level) Vacancy 2024-High Court of Chhattisgarh Higher Judicial Service in the revised pay scale Rs. 144840-194660 under Level J-5 of new pay matrix in the cadre of Higher Judicial Service by direct recruitment from Advocates (Bar).
Eligibility Criteria of District Judge Entry Level
- As a citizen of India,
- has attained the age of 35 years and has not attained the age of 45 years on the first day of January in the year in which applications for appointment are invited i.e. 01/01/2024. Provided that where a candidate who was eligible in age to apply for appointment in the year 2023 i.e. as on 01/01/2023
- Possess a degree in law of a university established or incorporated by or under a central Act or a State Act or an institution recognized by the U.G.C. or any other equivalent qualification.
- has for at least seven years been an advocate as of 01/01/2024 In other words, the applicant must be practicing as of 01/01/2024 as an Advocate and must have so practiced for not less than seven years as of such date.
- has good character and is of sound mind and body and free from any bodily and mental disability which renders him unfit for such appointment.
Examination Fees (Non-Refundable)
- Rs. 1000/- for all the candidates belonging to the Unreserved Category and for all the candidates who are not residents of Chhattisgarh state irrespective of their categories.
- Rs. 700/- for the candidates who are Bonafide residents of Chhattisgarh state belonging to SC/ST and OBC as notified for the State of Chhattisgarh.
Payment Procedures
- Fee in the form of Cash, Money Order, Bank Draft or Cheque shall not be accepted in any case and such applications shall be rejected for want of adequate fee.
- Before sending the challan, the candidates must ensure and be satisfied that there is no default.
- In case the challan is found defective or incomplete, the application shall be treated as rejected.
- Fee shall not be refunded in any case.
- In case of receipt of application after expiry of the last date or in case of rejection of the application the fee shall not be refunded.
