ToggleAbout Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights Internship
Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) offers internships across divisions and themes to youngsters. Interns typically support the Commission in background research, field visits, data analytics, preparing policy briefs/summaries, drafting letters/notices/summons, preparing minutes of the meetings, and documentation-related support including social media amongst others. Full-time interns are provided with a modest stipend in addition to official travel-related reimbursements.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As an intern, you may be doing any one or more of the following:
- Assist the Commission in designing and anchoring the baseline, and end line assessments along with periodic assessments in between.
- Conduct data analytics and assist the Commission in taking day-to-day as well as important decisions in an informed manner.
- Assist the teachers in implementing the foundational skills program in the Children’s Homes assigned.
- Conduct field visits, and prepare observations, and document the projectโs progress, challenges, and success.
- Assist the Commission in organizing regular training and instituting monitoring mechanisms.
- Any other task as may be assigned by the Commission.
Working Hours: DCPCR Internship
- At least 5 days a week for 6-7 hours every day.
Essential Requirements: DCPCR Internship
- Commitment to public service, strong work ethics and integrity.
- Basic levels of proficiency in English (writing, reading).
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Computer/laptops.
- Minimum 5 weeks commitment
- Undertaking that the applicant has never been charge sheeted or acquitted in cases of gender, sexual, childrenโs rights, and human rights violation by their respective organisation and/or investigation agencies and/or Court of law.
