About Tripura Judicial Service Recruitment for [Grade-I] Higher Judiciary

High Court of Tripura Vacancy, Online applications are invited from eligible practitioners. Advocates of reserved category (Scheduled Tribes & Scheduled Castes) who are Indian Citizens and who have attained the age of 35 years & have not attained the age of 48 years as on the last date fixed for the receipt of (online application and having at least seven years practice in Courts of Civil and Criminal jurisdiction as on the last date.

Application Fee: High Court of Tripura Vacancy

The application fee for the UR category. applicant is Rs.2000/- (Rupees two thousand only) and Rs.1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) for reserved category (ST/SC) applicants.

Eligibility: Tripura Judicial Service Recruitment for [Grade-I] Higher Judiciary

  • Therefore, willing eligible practicing Advocates of the Un-reserved category who are Indian Citizens and who have attained the age of 35 years & have not attained the age of 45 years, and having at least seven years of practice in Courts of Civil and Criminal jurisdiction as on the last date fixed for the receipt of the online application may also Apply for the post.

  • Submission of online application in the final form: From 02.09.2024 to 23.09.2024 (up to 4:00 p.m.)
  • Date of Written Examination: Will be notified later on
  • Date of downloading of Call Letter: Will be notified later on
  • Centre, time, and duration of the examination: Will be mentioned in the Call Letter.

Examination

Written Exam

PAPER – I:

One paper of 100 marks (duration not less than 2_ hours) to test the

  • General Knowledge
  • aptitude
  • intelligence
  • test of comprehension and expression of law and General English including Essay Writing on legal topic and information technology.
PAPER-II:

One paper of 100 marks (duration not less than 2 hours) regarding objective questions and problems of law as regards

  • the Transfer of Property Act
  • Civil Procedure Code
  • Code of Criminal Procedure
  • Indian Evidence Act
  • Indian Penal Code and Limitation Act.
PAPER-III:

One paper of 100 marks (duration not less than 2 hours)- consisting of Judgment writing (Paper Book to be supplied)

  • Legal Theories on jurisprudence
  • provision of the Constitution of India

Interview

  • Viva-voce – 50 marks.
