Central University of Shillong North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) Guest Faculty Recruitment 2024. NEHU is inviting applications for guest faculty positions in various departments. The recruitment process involves submitting an application form, along with relevant academic qualifications and experience. Other Terms and conditions:

The selection for the Guest Faculty shall be made by the University purely temporarily.
The term of the appointment is for the current semester only or till the regular faculty joins the department whichever is earlier.
The posts are purely for the defined short duration and are of the nature of Guest Faculty.
No other emoluments, allowances, or medical reimbursements are admissible.
No vacation salary is payable. Guest/Part-time faculty will not be given the benefit of pension, gratuity, etc.
No application will be entertained after the last date and time mentioned.
The eligibility criteria of the candidates and other terms and conditions shall be as per UGC Regulations 2018/ AICTE latest regulations as the case may be, and their subsequent notification/Guidelines, if any.

Selection Procedure: Guest Faculty at NEHU

Mere fulfillment of essential qualifications will not entitle a candidate to be called for an interview.
The University reserves its right to shortlist the total number of candidates to be called for an Interview.
No TA/DA shall be paid for to the candidates for attending the Interview.
For external candidates’ interviews shall be conducted online.
