Fellowship Scheme at Institute of legislative drafting and research

The Fellowship Scheme 2024 at the Institute of Legislative Drafting and Research (ILDR) is a prestigious program designed to nurture legal talent and provide hands-on experience in the field of legislative drafting. Participants undergo rigorous training under the guidance of experienced legal experts, gaining valuable insights into the intricacies of law-making. Purpose: Legislative Drafting Fellowship

Institute of Legislative Drafting and Research (ILDR) seeks to motivate, train, create interest, and enhance capacity building in legislative drafting, legal research and training through multi-track initiatives across Law, Policy, and regulation.

Eligibility: Institute of legislative drafting and research Fellowship

ILDR offers Fellowship to graduates in law of 5 years integrated LL.B. Course, 3 years of LL.B. Course, and 3 years of B.A. (Law) Course.

Duration

Duration of Fellowship shall commence from the date of joining for a period up to three months, as decided by the Competent Authority and can be renewed for one more term.

How to Apply: Legislative Drafting Fellowship

  • The candidates desirous of Fellowship in ILDR may fill out the application form as per Annexure-A. Secretary, Legislative Department may also nominate eligible candidates on the Course Director (ILDR) recommendation or otherwise.
  • The candidates must also submit a Character Certificate along with the application form. A format of Character Certificate to be signed by First Class Magistrate or by First Class Gazetted Officer is attached in Annexure-B.
