About Ph.D. Admission at DNLU
The Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU) is announcing admission notification 2024 for Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Program for the Academic Year 2024-25. The University invites applications for admission to the Ph.D. for the Academic Year 2024-25 in the subjects of Law, Political Science, Economics, English, and Sociology. Other than Law subjects, in Political Science, Economics, English, and Sociology the topic of Ph.D. research must have an interface with Law.
Eligibility Criteria for Application for Ph.D. at NLU MP
- LL.M. or an equivalent law degree with 55% marks (50% SC/ST/OBCs non-creamy layer/ Especially Abled/Economically Weaker Section)
NLU Jabalpur Ph.D. Admission Process 2024
For UGC-JRF:
- The Candidate with UGC-JRF is exempted from the Entrance Test.
- The admission shall be made through the evaluation of research proposals followed by an interview/viva/voice)
For All-India Entrance Test
- The admission shall be through the two-stage selection process, which includes
- Written entrance test and
- the evaluation of research proposals followed by an interview/viva voce.
- 50% of the questions for the entrance test shall be related to Research Methodology and the remaining 50% shall be subject-specific i.e. Part A of the Question Paper in Research Methodology through MCQ and Part B of the Question Paper in Law or Social Sciences.
- The Question Pattern will be descriptive not the MCQ for subjects. The candidate shall secure a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/SAP/EWS candidates) in the entrance test to qualify for the second stage.
