ICREP Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies is a peer-reviewed open-access journal published quarterly under Prof. N. R. Madhava Menon’s Interdisciplinary Centre for Research Ethics and Protocols, CUSAT.

Submission Procedure: ICREP Journal

  • All submissions should be sent with a cover letter indicating the name of the author, designation, and e-mail ID.
  • There should be an abstract encompassing the paper’s structure, rationale, and scope with 5 keywords (Not less than 250 words).
  • Submissions should be made through the journal website (https://icrep.cusat.ac.in/journal/contribute). The document should be in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
  • After submission through the journal website, the details like name of the author, designation, email ID, mobile number, and the title of the paper may be sent to the email id icrepjournal@cusat.ac.in.

Guidelines for Paper Submission

  • The first page of the document should contain:
    • Title of the paper
    • Full name of the author(s)
    • Name of the affiliated Institution/Organization/University
    • Educational Qualification
    • Email address &Contact number.
  • Co-authorship of maximum two is allowed.
  • Proper acknowledgement must be given for the use of the literature referred in the research paper.
  • The submitted paper should be Interdisciplinary in nature and must contain an interlinkage between law, science, technology and ethics.
  • The paper must contain an abstract of not less than 250 words followed by at least 5key words.
  • All the papers must contain an Introduction and Conclusion with suggestions.
  • The article must contain a minimum of 4000 words and should not exceed 8000 words.
  • The Submission should be in Word format only.
  • The layout must follow the below criteria:
    • Font: Times New Roman
    • Font size: headings-14; Body-12
    • Line Spacing:1.5
    • Margin: Left-1.5; Right-1; Top-1; Bottom-1
    • • Footnote: Times New Roman with Font size-10
    • Subheadings: Times New Roman-12, Left- Aligned
  • Footnotes should be in Bluebook (20th ed.) citation format.
  • A Plagiarism report should also to be submitted along with the paper. Papers exceeding 10% similarity will be summarily rejected.
  • There is a strict prohibition of usage of ChatGPT or such other Al tools in the paper. If found, such papers will be summarily rejected.
  • Authors bear the responsibility for the accuracy of the references; therefore, each reference should be thoroughly checked.
  • Acronyms or short forms (especially non-standard) must be written out in brackets accompanied by their full form.
  • Copyright of all entries shall exclusively vest with Prof. N. R. Madhava Menon Interdisciplinary Centre for Research Ethics and Protocols and the submission would imply that the author has assigned such rights to the Centre.
  • The author is required to attach a declaration form stating that his/her work is original and hasn’t been published anywhere or not in consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • Contributors/authors are required to strictly adhere to the publication policy and ethical standards prescribed by the journal.
  • Those who have earlier contributed to the earlier issues of journal may avoid contributing to the current issue.
  • All the articles/research paper/notes/reviews shall be subjected to double peer review and subject to the final decision of the editorial board.
