Objective: DSLSA Winter Internship Programme 2024

• Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) is offering a Winter Internship program to provide first-hand experience in the day-to-day operations of the Authority by closely working at the grassroots level of our Society as well as hands-on experience on legal issues faced by people at large.
• This is a unique opportunity to have an understanding of the Free Legal Aid System and how different stakeholders work in tandem with each other to ensure that the benefit of various welfare schemes of the Government, as well as DSLSA/NALSA, reach the marginalized section of society.

Who can apply? Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) Internship

Law students pursuing Five years Course and Three Years Course are eligible to apply for this program.

Skills required: DSLSA Winter Internship Program 2024-2025

Efficiency in written Communication (English), Legal writing, Basic legal knowledge, computer operation in Word/Excel/PPT

Suggested field areas for visit during the Internship period.

While interning with Authority the students may have an opportunity to visit the authorities/places mentioned below:

1. District Courts (Civil & Criminal side).

3. Special Courts dealing with cases under Section 138 N.I. Act. 
4. Mediation Centre. 
5. Labour Courts & Tribunals including Armed Forces Tribunal, Debt Recovery 

Tribunal, MCD Appellate Tribunal, Consumer Forums etc.

6. Door-to-Door Campaign in Districts. 
7. Legal Services Clinics.

8. Observation Homes for Juveniles. 
9. Juvenile Justice Boards. 
10. Children Homes & Child Welfare Committees.

Academic Credit: Legal Services Authority Internship

Internship Certificate at the successful completion of the internship subject to submission of Project Report on the topic provided during the Internship & also to submit brief/write up (3-4 pages) on any of the topics dealt with during the Internship.

Attendance: Delhi Winter Internship 2024-2025

Minimum 75% attendance is a must for the Internship.
