Eligibility Criteria: Justice K.V. Viswanathan internship

• Undergraduate law students (2nd year or above in a 3-year program, 3rd year or above in a 5-year program)
• Postgraduate law students

Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis; applicants should ideally submit their application 5 weeks before the intended start of their internship

Selection Process: Justice K.V. Viswanathan Judicial internship

• Applicants will be interviewed telephonically or virtually. Confirmations will be communicated 2-4 weeks before the start of the internship.
• Orientation: At the start of the internship, interns will participate in an orientation session covering essential procedures, tools, and policies, and will be provided with necessary templates and protocols to ensure they are well-prepared for their responsibilities.

Duration: Supreme Court Internship

• November 2024 – May 2025.
• This one-month internship

Internship Responsibilities [Non-exhaustive List]:

• Prepare briefs summarizing case facts, legal arguments, and relevant case law.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft memos and opinions.
• Attend court proceedings and meetings, taking detailed minutes.

Interns are expected to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism at all times, ensuring that all information obtained during the internship is handled with the utmost discretion and that their conduct consistently reflects the integrity and excellence required by the office.
