About NHRC Online Short-Term Winter Internship 2025
The NHRC Invite for Online Short-Term Winter Internship for March 2025 The National Human Rights Commission has been expressly mandated to promote Human Rights literacy, and awareness vides Section 12 (h) of the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993. To spread awareness among university students about the need to protect and promote human rights, the Commission has been conducting internship programs regularly since 1998.
Eligibility: NHRC Online Winter Internship 2025
- Students studying in 3rd year and onwards of any integrated 5-year PG Course
- Students studying in 3rd / final year of a graduation course
- Students of any semester/ year of any post–graduate degree course (also applicable to the students in a year’s LL.B program).
- Students of any semester/ year of any post–graduate diploma course
- Students who are research scholars in any stream.
- Students must have consistently attained a minimum of 60% marks in Class XII and all subsequent years in attended degree or diploma courses, including the presently pursued courses. The calculated percentage has to be mentioned clearly from their CGPA/SGPA along with the formula for the percentage obtained. Failure to do either of them would result in the rejection of the application form.
Duration of NHRC Online Short-Term Internship 2025
For August 2025, a two-week “Online Short-Term Internship Programme – January 2025 (OSTI- January 2025)” will commence from 27th January to 07th Feb 2025. Applications are invited from eligible students from the entire country.
Important Instructions: NHRC Short Term Internship
A 250-word write–up on the topic “Statement of Purpose for joining NHRC Online Short-Term Internship” will be required to be submitted by the applicants online along with the application form which will also serve as a basis for selection. Students who have research potential in the areas relating to human rights will be preferred (to be indicated in the write–up). The students may also include the details of co–curricular activities, Moot Courts, Internships, and research projects to strengthen their application.
