Elocution: Vignan Institute of Law Elocution Competition
Theme: Role of Judiciary in strengthening free legal aid.
Eligibility: pro bono Week 1.0 Competition 2025
Students from any college or university across India are eligible to participate.
Rules and Regulations:
- This is an individual competition.
- Each participant will be given a maximum of 5 minutes to deliver their speech.
- The preferred language for the competition is English.
- Participants are not allowed to carry any study material, notes, or paper while speaking.
- The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.
Judging Criteria:
- Participants will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Content – Relevance, structure, and depth of the speech.
- Message Conveyed – Clarity and impact of the speech, the core message.
- Self-Confidence – Poise, voice modulation, and conviction in delivery.
We encourage all participants to showcase their oratory skills and make the most of this opportunity to express their views effectively.

Vignan Institute of Law Article Writing Competition
Theme:
Legal awareness and its role in implementing the laws effectively
- Word limit between 1000-3000 words.
- Ensure strict adherence to the given word count to avoid disqualification.
- Plagiarism must be below 10% (Turnitin, Grammarly, or other plagiarism tools may be used for detection).
- Proper paraphrasing and citations are mandatory to avoid plagiarism issues.
- The article must not have been published elsewhere (including blogs, journals, or newspapers).
- Self-plagiarism is not allowed.
- Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12pt (Main Text), 10pt (Footnotes).
- Line Spacing: 1.5 (Main Text), Single (Footnotes).
- Margins: 1 inch on all sides.
- Alignment: Justified.
- File Format: PDF or Word (.doc/.docx), as per competition guidelines.
- Article should be submitted through the google drive link which will be provided.
- Follow a consistent citation format of Bluebook 20th edition

Eligibility:
Students from any college or university across India are eligible to participate.
Rules and Regulations
- Posters must be submitted online within the given deadline.
- The poster must represent the theme provided.
- Each participant will be required to give a 3-minute presentation explaining their poster.
- The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.
- Size of the poster should be 1080 x 1080 [1:1]
- Poster should be within 10 MB.
- Poster should not be copied from any other sources including internet and Artificial Intelligence. Otherwise, it would lead to disqualification of the participant.
We encourage participants to think innovatively and present their ideas in a visually compelling manner.

The Reel Making Competition is an opportunity for students to showcase their creativity, storytelling skills, and technical expertise in video creation. Participants are encouraged to produce original content that aligns with the given theme while adhering to ethical and professional standards.

Pro Bono and Access to Justice
Sub themes: Pro Bono Week 1.0
- Role of legal service authority in justice delivery system
- Role of Pro Bono associates to provide free legal aid
- Legal aid and child rights.
Eligibility: Pro Bono Legal Service Completion
Students from any college or university across India are eligible to participate.
Rules and Regulations
- The reel must be between 60 to 90 seconds in duration.
- The language of the reel must be English.
- The reel must be submitted in MP4 format.
- Content must be original; plagiarism or using copyrighted material without permission will result in disqualification.
- The content should be appropriate, free from obscenity, hate speech, or any offensive material.
- The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.
We encourage participants to use their creativity and technical skills to craft impactful and engaging reels.
