Introduction

I, K. Sankeerthana, a law student from Alliance University, Bangalore, had the opportunity to intern at Tayi Associates, Madhapur, Hyderabad, from 1st June 2025 to 30th June 2025. This internship was a truly enriching journey that gave me deep insights into the practical aspects of the legal profession.

Exposure and Mentorship

Under the mentorship of Mr. Raja Gopallavan Tayi and other esteemed associates, I was introduced to the dynamic working environment of a law office. Their guidance helped me understand the importance of professionalism, discipline, and precision in legal practice.

First Day Experience

On my first day, I was warmly welcomed by the team. I was introduced to my mentor Mr. Raja Gopallavan Tayi and the associates who guided me through my work and assignments.

Work and Tasks Assigned

• Conducted legal research and prepared case summaries on topics including:

  • Consumer Rights
  • Criminal Law (Dowry Prohibition, Domestic Disputes)
• Assisted in drafting pleadings and legal documents.
• Prepared briefs and memos based on statutory provisions and judicial precedents.
• Worked on daily assignments with strict deadlines, enhancing time-management and drafting precision.

One of the most important aspects of my internship was conducting legal research on varied subjects such as:
