About the Bhagavad Gita in the Indian Legal System Conference
The Faculty of Law, University of Delhi (DU), in collaboration with the Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation (SPMRF), proudly announces a Three-Day National Conference on “The Relevance of the Bhagavad Gita in the Indian Legal System”.
This academic event aims to explore the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita and its enduring influence on law, justice, governance, and morality in modern India. It seeks to connect ancient philosophical teachings with the constitutional and jurisprudential framework of the Indian legal system, offering a fresh perspective on ethics, duties, and righteousness (Dharma) in law.

Call for Papers: Bhagavad Gita Law Conference 2025
Scholars, academicians, research students, and legal professionals are invited to submit abstracts and full papers contributing to the theme of the conference.
The submissions should focus on critical interpretations, doctrinal analysis, and practical applications of Gita-based philosophy within the Indian and international legal frameworks.
