NLIU-NHRC National Moot Court Competition 2026
The National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal, in collaboration with the National Human Rights Commission of India (NHRC), proudly announces the 1st NLIU-NHRC National Moot Court Competition, 2026, scheduled to take place from 9th to 11th January 2026 on the NLIU campus, Bhopal.
About the Competition
The upcoming moot court competition focuses on the theme “Human Rights in Emerging Criminal Justice Practice”, offering participants an opportunity to delve into the evolving intersection between human rights law and criminal justice mechanisms.
Organized by the NLIU Moot Court Association, this national-level event aims to sensitise law students to the nuances of human rights protection, judicial accountability, and procedural fairness within the criminal justice system. The collaboration with NHRC strengthens the initiative’s commitment to promoting awareness and practical engagement in human rights education.
Objective of the Moot
The competition seeks to:
