About Ministry of Law and Justice Internship 2025
The Ministry of Law and Justice (MoJ), Department of Legal Affairs, Government of India, invites applications for a valuable paid LLB internship program in the December 2025 batch. This program provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in law and justice, working closely with experienced legal practitioners and policymakers.
Purpose: Department of Legal Affairs Internship 2025
The Department of Legal Affairs Internship Programme 2025 aims to:
- Provide law students and young graduates with exposure to the functioning of the Department of Legal Affairs.
- Offer training in research and referencing work, court proceedings, and legal advisory roles.
- Enable interns to explore specialized areas of law, including:
- Constitutional & Administrative Law
- Finance Law
- Infrastructure Law
- Economic Law
- Labour Law
- Conveyancing
- Arbitration & Contract Law
This programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical legal application.
Eligibility for the Ministry of Law and Justice Internship 2025
Applicants must be:
- Indian students who have completed:
- 2nd year of a 3-year LL.B. course, or
- 3rd year of a 5-year integrated LL.B. course
- Law graduates from any recognized law college/university are also eligible.
Duration: Legal Affairs Ministry Internship 2025
- The internship will typically run for one month.
- For this cycle, the internship will commence on 1st Dec 2025 and conclude on 31st Dec 2025.
Selection Procedure: Legal affairs ministry internship selection process 2025
- A maximum of 50 candidates will be selected each month.
- Selection will be based on applications reviewed as per guidelines.
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified through the Internship Portal or via email.
